Originally fun boards were thought to be an entry level design but ironically the trend of fuller outlines has also made its way into many of todays shortboard designs. Because I like to R&D everything I make I made the effort to test my wife’s quiver of RJ “Funs” and found them to perform above all my hopes. In fact at a spot like large Raglan NZ, or Publics in Waikiki it actually outperformed my shortboards in paddling and projection and with a tail like a shortboard I found them turn the same attack lines with effortless speed. The entry level surfer and anyone else will find this board lively in a variety of conditions. Can be ordered 6’0″-7’0″
